Description

The only gin with a distillate of macerated Aachen chocolate prunes. This gin is a tribute to Aachen and to the Aachener's favorite pastry, in its most liquid form. Distilled in the highest craftsmanship and with only 7 botanicals for a pure taste. Elegant in the mouth of juniper, a subtle underlying aroma of Nobis chocolate prunes, oranges and a fresh finish, with a hint of chocolate.

How did the wooden crates - also called export crates - come about?
After the end of the Second World War, more and more Printen orders from Aacheners abroad reached the Nobis bakery. What was missing was a nice and suitable packaging to send the Printen to the people who did not want to miss their favorite product even outside Aachen. So Netty Nobis developed a Printen box made of wood. Netty Nobis was the wife of Heinz Nobis, the grandson of the company founder Johannes Michael Nobis. Thanks to Netty Nobis' idea, Printen have been shipped in the wooden box since 1957. And so Netty Nobis also coined this old rhyme: This box, thought up by us, and imitated by so many, externally it resembles all, but Nobis -Printen remain unmatched.
